Psychotherapy

Fritz Perls wrote that one of the tasks of Gestalt therapy is to wake a person from a nightmare.

Alexander Mokhovikov said that the task of therapy is not to make a person happy. Its task is to make a person free.

This is how change happens.

First, a person wakes up from the nightmare.

Then they begin to experience greater freedom — recognizing their choices, understanding themselves better, and living less on autopilot.

And then, gradually, they learn to notice happiness.

Not immediately.

How therapy with me works

Our first meeting is a chance to get acquainted and clarify what brings you to therapy.

We look at what has brought you here, how long it has been happening, what you have already tried, and what you want from therapy.

Then we explore feelings, reactions, relationships, and internal conflicts.

I do not offer ready-made recipes or judge you.

My task is to help you see how you function, where you lose your footing, and what changes are genuinely possible.

The work may be brief and focused on a specific concern. Or it may go deeper if you want to change enduring patterns in how you live, choose, and build relationships.

What I work with

  • anxiety, panic attacks, and depressive states;
  • the effects of traumatic experiences;
  • psychosomatic responses;
  • relationship and family crises;
  • identity and separation;
  • personal boundaries and finding support within yourself;
  • money, self-realization, and achievements;
  • competition, setbacks, and difficult life transitions.

If the involvement of a psychiatrist or another specialist is needed, I will say so directly and recommend an additional consultation.

My approach

I am an accredited Gestalt therapist and an EMDR therapist.

I use Gestalt therapy and EMDR depending on the client’s needs and condition.

I do not fit a person to a method. I choose the method to fit the person.

Working with me may not always feel comfortable, but it should always be safe.

When things are difficult, you can lean on me as you gradually find your own footing.
