Privacy
This notice applies to the main website korolchukresearch.org. The psychological assessment platform operates separately and has its own data processing arrangements.
Data controller and contact
The controller of personal data on the main website is a Ukrainian sole proprietor (FOP), Korolchuk Andrii Anatoliiovych. For questions about data processing or to exercise your rights, email research@korolchukresearch.org.
What data is processed
When you visit the site, the hosting service may process technical data needed to deliver pages and maintain security: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of the request, requested page, and technical logs. The main website does not include advertising pixels, visitor analytics software, questionnaires collecting health information, or an appointment form that submits data to the site's server.
When you contact us by email or Telegram, information contained in your message is processed, including your email address or username, correspondence content, and information needed to reply. Correspondence takes place in the respective external service.
Purposes and legal grounds
Technical information is used to load pages, maintain security, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot problems. Where the GDPR applies, a possible legal basis for this processing is the controller's legitimate interest in maintaining the website's operation and security.
Information from inquiries is used to respond and, where appropriate, arrange further work. Depending on the inquiry, the legal basis may be steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or a legitimate interest in administrative communications.
You do not need to provide contact information merely to browse the site. If you request a reply, we need a way to contact you. The main website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for visitors.
Service providers and international processing
The site is hosted by Vercel. Zoho Mail provides email, and Telegram is used for messaging. In providing these services, technical and contact information may be processed by those providers and their subprocessors, including outside the European Economic Area.
Processing terms and possible international data transfers are described in the Vercel data processing agreement, Zoho privacy policy, and Telegram privacy policy. For further information about how data is processed when contacting us through the website, please email the controller at the address given above.
The site links to external resources including Instagram, ORCID, Google Scholar, SSRN, and Zenodo. The respective service's rules apply when you follow those links.
Psychological assessments take place on a separate platform, tests.korolchukresearch.org; this notice does not describe all data processing activities of that platform.
Data retention
Retention of technical data depends on its category, purpose, and the hosting provider's settings, including its rules for logs and backups. Administrative correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond, arrange services, and document agreements, and where necessary to meet legal obligations or protect legitimate interests. Retention depends on the nature of the inquiry and the relevant obligations; no single deletion period applies to all messages.
Deleting correspondence from an account does not necessarily mean that backups held by an external provider or a message copy held by the other participant are deleted immediately.
Sensitive information
Please do not send detailed medical information, assessment results, or other sensitive data by ordinary email or Telegram before we have agreed on an appropriate communication channel. For administrative questions, you can use Telegram for appointments.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to particular uses, and, where applicable, receive your data in a portable format. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it. You also have the right to contact a competent data protection authority.
To make a request, write to research@korolchukresearch.org and indicate which inquiry or service it concerns. Please do not attach identity documents unless separately requested and necessary.
